Chris Lawry

Chris completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at Monash University. He has always had an interest in how the human body functions which led him to want to understand it more and help people fix their aches and pains. Chris believes in taking the time to listen to every patient’s story and performing a thorough assessment, which allows him to form the best plan going forward to address the presenting problem. He knows each persons version of an injury is likely to be slightly different and so knowing their story is the best way to form an individualised plan.

He is always keen to continue growing his physiotherapy knowledge, completing further courses covering complex knee injury assessment and rehabilitation, dry-needling for musculoskeletal issues, tendon assessment and management, and physiotherapy skills specific to sports injuries.

Chris has a strong interest and belief in pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, having spent significant time training and working in this setting. He also has experience in sports physiotherapy, having worked with a range of AFL, rugby union and netball clubs along with some time with Old Scotch Football Club in the VAFA.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys staying active through running and various forms of strength training. He also really enjoys travelling and seeing the world.
